David Matthews uses Lucas Heavy Duty Oil Stabilizer in 1982 Toyota Corolla

I run an '82 Corolla in the ministock class at Racecity Motorsport Park in Calgary. At the beginning of the season, we had the oil pan cover off for routine check and maintence before the rac season. We checked the bearings on the #1 and #4 pistons. They were worn down to the copper in a horseshoe pattern on one side of the bearing. As we had made the decision to get seat time this season, we put it all back together and added 10w40 oil and a litre of Heavy Duty Oil Stabilizer. Well, we finished the season with the same motor and added Stabilizer as we needed to. I won one race and came in third in another. I will be using the oil stabilizer in my race motor next season.
